About Us

Watson’s Garden Center was founded in 1955 by the three Watson boys:  Bobby, Jimmy, and Joe.  Their parents, Maurice and Elizabeth Watson were there also to help the new business along.  Through the 60s and 70s, the business grew from lawnmower and tractor sales and repair to include a full service garden center, nursery, and greenhouse.  In the 80s Weber grills became very popular and added greatly to the company’s offerings and growth.  Today, we offer much the same as in the past minus the lawnmower repairs.

The business changed hands during the past 10 years and now Henry Marconi, Bobby and Connie Watson’s nephew is the proud owner.  Henry has 23 years service with Watson’s.

Great customer service and attention to a clean and well-merchandised store are our main goals for success today.  We have a talented staff of employees with a high level of dedication to quality service to keep the good Watson name around for another 55 years.
